An advertisement that directly refers women who are late for their period to an abortion provider is specifically marketing for abortion. An ad with an ultrasound picture of a baby with a halo around his head and a message about Baby Jesus in relation to Christmas is not in direct correlation to the pro-life movement. It is merely a representation of the birth of Christ.
Even if it was a pro-life commercial that was a counterattack on the abortion ad, how would that be any different than a political campaign ad in which each candidate proposes his/her own standpoints and even possibly criticizes the opponents' characters?
Has the freedom of religion and speech been stripped out of public advertising as well?
